As the plant becomes established, it can produce runners that develop into new plants, gradually creating a dense Vallisneria background.

🪴 HOW TO PLANT

Carefully remove the plant from the pot.

Remove the growing media around the roots.

Separate individual plants gently if required.

Plant the roots into aquarium substrate.

Keep the crown where the leaves meet the roots ABOVE the substrate.

⚠️ Do not bury the crown too deeply as this may cause the plant to deteriorate.

✂️ MAINTENANCE

Remove older or damaged leaves from the base when necessary.

If the plant spreads beyond the desired area, unwanted runners can be trimmed and removed or replanted elsewhere.

Avoid cutting healthy leaves halfway where possible; removing unwanted leaves from the base generally gives a cleaner appearance.
