Maintain a stable aquarium water level automatically with the EHEIM Waterrefill.

Designed for open-top freshwater and marine aquariums, this intelligent Automatic Top-Off (ATO) system continuously monitors the aquarium water level and automatically replaces water lost through evaporation.

Simply place the refill pump inside your water reservoir. When the sensor detects that the aquarium water level has dropped, the system automatically starts refilling.

🧠 INTELLIGENT AUTO REFILL

Unlike a basic water-level switch, the EHEIM controller learns the aquarium's normal:

• Refill quantity

• Refill duration

• Refill frequency

• Changes in evaporation rate

It automatically adapts the amount of refill water according to the aquarium's requirements.

🛡️ INTELLIGENT SAFETY STOP

The controller monitors for unusual changes during operation.

Automatic refilling stops if:

• Filling takes approximately twice as long as previously recorded

OR

• The interval between refills becomes significantly shorter or longer than normal

This safety feature helps protect against accidental overflowing.

💡 WATER LEVEL SENSOR

The electronic sensor continuously monitors the aquarium water level.

Freshwater Aquarium:

→ Install externally on the aquarium glass.

Marine Aquarium:

→ Can alternatively be installed on the sump / filter tank inside the cabinet.

When the water level drops, the refill pump automatically starts.

In marine aquariums, evaporation can also cause SALINITY to increase because water evaporates while dissolved salts remain behind.

Using tap water repeatedly for evaporation replacement can gradually increase substances such as nitrate, phosphate, silicate and water hardness because these substances do not evaporate with the water.
